Blockade of Cabinet of Ministers Is Lifted, Protest Continues

The opposition's Committee of National Salvation has decided to cease the blockade of the building of Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, but to continue to block the President's Administration building.

This was stated by Deputy Yuri Lutsenko at a Kyiv protest. Starting December 9, protesters will allow all government employees (with the exception of the presidential candidate, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych) to resume working. Their protests, however, will continue.

Lutsenko said that the picketing of the Presidential Administration building will continue until Viktor Yushchenko enters it as the elected president.
