Yulia Tymoshenko speaks of an attempt to storm the Parliament Building.

Quesion: Do you think that provocative actions of the deputy Tiagnybok were in agreement with the Coalition politics or they were his own initiative?
Yulia Tymoshenko answers: I do not think that Tiahnybok tried to provoke people. You know that there were lots of people around the Parliament Building. Some Parliament factions that support Yanukovich tried to block the motion of no-confidence in Central Election Committee and the announcement about the second round of the elections to have been falsified (the motion was passed on November, 27)

That is why all the deputies of our two factions went to open the doors to the people. Oleh Tiahnybok was among them and now he genuinely holds on to the positions our fight is built upon.

I want to let you know that I was among those that opened the Parliament doors for the people. The situation in the Parliament was completely changed by the fact of people peacefully, without aggression, entering the Parliament building. The “situational” majority that was sponsored by Yanukovich simply vanished, as well as all those motions that used to ruin the rightful decisions. It seemed that it was the people that made all the decisions in the Parliament that day. As a result the motion of no-confidence for Yanukovich government was passed the next day.

You know, I really want politicians to believe in power of the people that are out on the streets today. I do not want the politicians to make secret agreements; I want them to trust people.
