Once again the "Pereyaslav syndrome" ascends upon the Ukrainian political stage as the Ukrainian Prime Minister rightfully tagged with a criminal record is working the Parliament's weaker link members to dethrone all of the President Victor Yushchenko's team.

What Mr. Yanukovych is not counting on is the absolute powerful response of Ukrainian people and liberation forces globally if he marries Ukraine politically, culturally, linguistically with Moscow.

You will not succeed with your grand design to Russify a sovereign Ukraine in a 21st century Europe, Mr. Yanukovych. Take this promise seriously! Ukrainian patriots will not sit idly by while you play your pyramid schemes in Kiev and Moscow.
