I'll retract the above because Ukrayinska Pravda have responded and started to clean things up. Behind this is an orchestrated campaign of defamation. In many ways similar to a DDoS attack in that it's intended to stop a message being spread.
There are two ways of doing this, by sabotaging the medium of communication or by undermining the messenger. UP has now deleted the most recent spate and blocked the contributors from posting again. Blocked at least in one username. As we have already experienced on the en.for-ua site, they will keep coming back until the site has to be modified to repel them.
This is not any welcome for those interested in Ukraine nor any indication that free and open communcation is encouraged, nor that any editor will reply when asked to act on gratuitous defamation.
The thread will remain since other sites are involved and they too care not to reply to a very reasonable request.
