I'm an American also, of German (mostly) and Irish (lesser) heritage, and have lived and worked in Russia. I seriously doubt that you would enjoy the same degree of freedom of expression if this were a Russian-based forum. Based on personal experience, it seems more likely that you'd get a knock at your door in the middle of the night (if you wrote from Russia), facing Kalashnikovs, and instructions: "Put on your coat and come with us." Without explanation.
Comparing this forum to some manner of "neo-Nazi", quite frankly, comes across as propaganda -- a trait for which Nazi Germany was infamous, vis-a-vis Herr Doctor Josef Goebbels.
