Minsk Protest, Day 4. The rally for Belarusian democracy continues

March 22, 2006. Minsk, Belarus. -- The pro-democracy rally continued in Minsk despite a call from one of the two democratic candidates, Mr Kozulin, to leave and come back on March 25, which the protesters overwhealmingly ignored.

Today's rally gathered some 5,000 protesters calling for a re-run of the rigged presidential eleciton in Belarus. Alexander Milinkevich talked to the protesters. A concert was organized for the protesters. The morale of the protesters is high.

The proof of a total election fraud in all parts of the country has been collected and delivered to the OCSE mission and other international observers. A video exposing an election fraud instance has been circulating on the Internet.

The police continues to detain people and otherwise preventing a successful rally.
